  • Apostile Birth Certificate Replacement
The certificate will normally include full name of child, mother's name, father's name (when registered) DoB, where born and registration district.

UK Official Records provides an apostile service to assist you in acquiring official UK Apostile Certificates for UK documents. The Apostile Certificate is normally requested by foreign authorities and organisations so that the document can be used for official purposes outside of the UK. It is also referred to as legalisation.

All replacement apostile birth certificates we supply are fully certified copies which are suitable for all official purposes. Some reasons for obtaining a certificate include an application for marriage, applying for an academic course, applying for a passport or a driver's licence. One of the most common reasons is that the original certificate was lost or mislaid.

It may be the first time you have ever had to request an Apostille Certificate and it may quite possibly be the last. An Apostile Certificate is only ever required if you have dealings outside of the UK which involve some form of official paperwork. Apostiles are required for work, business, legal issues and personal matters. The most common requirements for an Apostile Certificate are overseas marriage, registering births, working or teaching abroad, foreign property purchases and business transactions or contracts.

Replacement Apostile birth certificates do not require a signed release or similar for the order to be processed. Nor does further documentation (e.g. driver's licence or passport) have to produced Generally, there will be no special needs for the order to be completed, beyond the initial supplying of information and payment.

There is no choice between non certified and certified - all certificates issued are certified. All certificates issued are issued with an official seal, some certificates have a raised seal or a stamped seal.

We can supply birth certificates from the United Kingdom (UK) of Great Britain (GB) England, Scotland, Northern Ireland and Wales, and many overseas births where the location was once a British territory, or if the event was registered with a British consulate.

We assume that the information supplied is accurate, and so cannot bear responsibility for any issues developing from any information which is inaccurately supplied. However, we will endeavour to locate the correct certificate, and so if the information supplied does not match the records we locate, we will contact you to resolve this.
